Not sure why Jackson Ford is unsigned as he rates well in most of the NSWRL Ressie stats unlike some of our more fancied forwards. Those in our Front Office trying to ignore Connor Mulheisen's credentials need to also take a look at the stats. For starters he is ranked the comp's third best defender.
Could be wrong but I believe it's not that the club doesn't rate Mulheisen, they just rate Sam Hooper much higher.

Agree about Jackson Ford. Maybe he has a better opportunity for first grade somewhere else or in the ESL.

Muhleisen is not on our unsigned list. He is on a DC? So having played Ressies for a full season surely he is first cab off the rank to take McCulloghs place.

I expect they take their spies to Flegg matches. Pity they dont record it at same time. I have not seen either Hooper or Purcell in action, other than in a 2 min replay reel. I have seen Muhleisen tho in a full match. Impressed me with his total involvement.
I haven't seen much of Hooper or Purcell either but I know they are both highly rated by the club. From the little I've seen of Hooper, I can understand where the club is coming from. But I've only seen a little. No idea how his defence is but seems his attack is very impressive. Muhleisen is super-reliable but maybe not as talented as Hooper.

Trust me they are aware. It would appear to me that the only way forward is to payout Griffin as I confidently predicted he has lost the dressing room well at least half and the same can be said for management. In my personal opinion there is no coming back after playing favourites, chopping off the assistant coaches and Graham who was highly respected. I've booked 2 overseas holidays next year because it is going to be when the club hits rock bottom.

Wouldn't look too much into those stats.
Those are end of season stats. Every team has its ups and downs with players in and out. I was trying to determine weather our for and against had jumped the Tigers after that big win. Obviously another member also wanted to know.

Having been a coach, your first hand personal experience too.
I agree pay him off. Then have Macca retire and tell Ben to play hooker until his contract expires so we can either import or blood our own future ball playing half to compliment Junior. Only then can we start to rebuild from a disastrous two years.

Well if anyone had any illusions how bad the club is travelling our reserves got flogged yesterday by Wests 38 - 22, who had only won 4 games all season. This club , our much beloved club is divided and in crisis not playing for the coach or more importantly the jersey or themselves. Yes reserves made the 8 but are a disgrace and just going through the motions because they know no matter how well or poorly they play they are no chance of playing 1sts and still get paid even if they don't play reserves. Bloody disgrace.

It was the last game for some of them. All the outstanding Flegg age players (many) went back to Flegg as NSW Cup were no longer any chance of making the finals. I think the coach is even on the way out. It's not good but understandable if no one really cared very much.

And that's exactly what I personally cannot stand. There is always something to play for, at the very least pride in yourself, your own performance let alone your jersey. This confirms to me that we are still on our way down. The culture in our club at the moment is toxic in my view.

Sounds like they threw in the towel. Not good for the club culture.

As you say, the place is a mess. Maybe the mass sackings so only Griffin and/or Young yes men are left, the team can get back to mediocrity rather than outright poorness.
Is that where we are now? It seems correct.

We are following the exact same path as the Tigers did last season. Keeping their coach instead of showing him the door then having the guts to sack him after round 4. This handed the Tigers their 1st wooden spoon . I can see us going in that direction unless circumstances drastically change in the off season sadly.

I have a feeling sanity will prevail and he'll be shown the door before the beginning of preseason training in November.
