I would hope Leks turns into a bench impact player but I'd said he is still behind Thick Mick

That's the impression I've always gotten as well. He's shown he has ability but shows it not nearly enough.

He's a edge but plays better in the middle when he is pushed more.

Just a Mug Fan, you think Coric is slipping down the order? What do you think his major issues are? Always seemed to me to be plenty skillful, can tackle and big enough. I was concerned about his stamina and, TBH, whether he would be tough enough to play prop in the open age group.

Any word on how Benny Rumble and Ackers are progressing? Haven’t heard much on either recently although I noticed Ackers now comes off the bench in SG.

In your opinion may one of the reasons why these two and others having not lived up to their talents was because of the previous culture and discipline within the team and club?

I don't think I have the time to list all the areas we have failed in.

Culture and Discipline was and still is a big problem.
Ben Hunt has absolutely nothing to do with other players outside of club duties.
Although the BBQ was a stupid idea I still blame Hunt and Hook for it.
We cleaned out a few player but there is more that need to go.

Coaching has been massive problem McGregor was just a **** of a person that had no idea.
Hook coaching ideas belong in 90s park footy.
Lower grade coaches like Head and Russ Atkins had no idea.
Pathways and budget has been terrible.
Basil had no chance offering kids 8 to 10k while Morkos Bostock and Walsh are getting offers of 50 to 80k from other clubs.

Ben was injured can't remember what atm Acker has had a knee injury all season and only started training last week in time for round 1 hence starting off the bench.

Excellent info. Thanks a lot! I'm hopeful for Coric. Maybe if Shereb was getting a rocket every other week he'd come good as well.

Too bad Benny Hunt is still pissing everyone off. Which brings me to one final question.

It's so very sad to have witnessed our fall from.grace both on and off the field. 54 yrs one red eye, one white. I note that you didn't mention P.D. Many believe that he was the architect of our demise. Anyway as long as it has been recognised, and accepted that we had a cultural and discipline issue we can move forward and perhaps regain our aura both on and off the field.

Ah ffs thought finau latu was signed post 2025. He's our most important signing imo, has elite rep level potential. Finau/Halagahu/Loko/Couchman twins/Egan etc. That's our future pack, they have all basis covered & all look to be elite level players. I'd be disappointed if we lost any of them.
