This St George junior belongs in this thread, Riley Brannock. Looks a natural organizer, has a good kicking game and his defense is sound. Only problem is he is still in the early Pathway stage, Matts Cup. One to watch for the future.

A short clip of Jack Talbott from the weekends HMC game.
This kid is a class FB, our halfs have been poor and I've want Scissors to move him into the halfs. Looks like he played there on the weekend. He needs his hands on the ball as much as possible.
He was the Andrew Johns players of the year last season.

Is Timmins who scored the last try Shaun's kid? Also a centre?

An Illawarra Steelers player has been found not guilty at the judiciary after being accused of making a racial slur during a Harold Matthews Cup game last weekend.

The under-17s player fronted a NSWRL judiciary hearing on Wednesday night after he was charged with contrary conduct by the match review committee on Monday. But the Steelers youngster was cleared of any wrongdoing in a hearing which was closed, given both players involved are under the age of 18.

The Illawarra player was referred straight to the judiciary after a Dragons player claimed he was called a “coconut” during last Saturday’s match between the two sides at Netstrata Jubilee Oval in Kogarah. The NSWRL told this masthead it would not be making any comment on the matter.

Saints Ball Cup boys will be in the post season proceedings after their 54/16 thrashing of the Raiders. Nine tries they put on with Jessie Williams bagging two. Bummer that it was not televised. Our Matts Cup look like being out of the finals tho, with a loss.

Steelers went down in both grades, horribly in Matts Cup 52/6. Doubt they are making the finals in either grade.

Interesting times for our Flegg side once the junior reps are done. The DRAGONS ARE TRAVELING PRETTY WELL AFTER THREE ROUNDS, but other than Jet Liu and Jake Webster I dont see a lot of talent in the Flegg pack. So room for two or all of Loko, Latu, Halangahu and Ackers (Saints) Mefou (Steelers) Reed and Buchanan are a chance.. Add the 'new three amigos' plus Ackers and possibly Mefou, to Liu and Webster and that is one powerhouse engine room. Am forgetting talented prop Hutchinson who has also been in terrific season form.

Been reading about a few of those SG Ball names. Shadi Hammoud, Ryan Hutchinson, Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga, Finau Latu, Corey Ackers. Others as well. Are they going to move up to Flegg this year?
Loko Finau Corey will
Shadi will most likely play FG local comp
Ryan has only come into the picture last few months so not sure what the club is doing with him

Is it generally harder for young blokes, like about 18, to play in the open age in the local comp or Jersey Flegg?
