Let’s not forget Peter O Sullivan was chasing him before he extended with us.

Praying LKT carves up over the next few games to the point he’s genuinely undroppable and becomes a key player for us

Ideally he imposes himself and becomes the other half in the 6/7 combo with Atkinson for 2026

I've been noticing that too.. either he rly is high on LKT legit, or hes just pumping our tyres for another reason... even if its just him having a 4D chess crack at the Flanagans..... he gave Tonga a bit of a wrap too, though more just regarding his size.. end of the day though he took Latu.. who I think will be the guy with more endurance to do longer and more effective minutes in first grade.

Dunno.. if fans start seeing LKT as the next big thing, they wont be too happy if he is dropped for the coaches son.. its classic Gould imo.. that said maybe he does just like what the kid does.. maybe he was looking at recruiting him at some point or something..

Pathways and junior recruitment is Gus Gould’s thing, he loves it. You can tell by the way he talks about it all the time

I’m sure there’s no deeper meaning than just him appreciating a young talented half like LKT

We should be disappointed if LKT gets dropped instead of Kyle despite playing better

Easy mistake to make. There is also Cyrus Stanley-Traill and almost certainly a couple who aren't as good as a lot of others when they are 18-19 but are better by the time they 22-23.

Marley McLaren's Bears took on Dolphins in the Mal Meninga Cup GF
This game is on Kayo and free on QplusTv I believe.
It was a cracker of a game.
Unfortunately Marley was injured 18min in with what looks like a leg injury, waiting for an update.
