Have we had confirmation on whether Fuimono, Kerr are staying either? I read that Burns had been upgraded somewhere.. perhaps our website. He was interviewed and said he had always supported the 'red and whites'. Seems our media people release some things and not others. The Mole gets more info than us fans.
I think Fuimaono is still under contract next year. Kerr certainly is but the club is trying to move him on.

Kerr never did it for me big bit no aggression .......
Agree 100%. He used to fall to the ground as soon as a hand was laid on him. I think it was JoDragon said when referring to him said, "it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog".

Cant give jodragon credit for that. ;) If memory serves it was American author Mark Twain that coined it. Is a terrific idiom all the same. Several Aussies that may apply to. Geoff Toovey (footy) Rod laver (tennis) Don Bradman, (cricket) Lionel Rose (boxing) Ken Rosewall (tennis), Ricky Ponting (cricket). Any others?

God have mercy! Imagine Raper, Gasnier and Smith today. They'd be 18, dominating lower grades but Griffin would let them go in favour of 30 something McGuire, Beale and Hunt🤪
And then have Albert Young waddle around, after all the beer and head-knocks, not sure what year it is most of the time talk about how Griffin has his full support.

Dean Young. Small for a forward. Jamie Soward. Before he publicly backed Griffin.

I have preferred we kept Poasa over him. Looked FG standard what i saw of him in Ressies. Did he actually play even one top grade match?
I didn't see much of him but from what I saw...... glad he's gone.

He played 2 or 3 first grade games in a row in his first season. Stunk it up badly. Don't think he ever played first grade after that.

What was his first year. Surely a bloke is entitled to a second chance. Like in cricket when selectors drop a batsman after 2/3 games. That is no where near sufficient time as moving from grade to state then state to national level requires a major step up in attitude and skills. It is work in progress.
Well, he was a Roosters reject, not a local junior. I understand what you are saying but not sure I agree. He was also poor in the trials. Toward the end of last season, he was dropped from reserve grade.

Sullivan all but goneski? Anyone got any inside info or just gut feelings. Real shame if he leaves.
If the Bulldogs get him, I think he'll go well. I really wanted Hunt to play hooker next year and Sullivan halfback. I'm still convinced that would have been best but we have Griffin whose main purpose as a coach is setting up guys from his superstar Broncos U20s team from 15 years ago and Craig Young who has drunk far too much and had far too many head knocks, handling our recruitment and retention.

Behind a decent pack and under a decent coach, I think Sullivan will be really good. I wonder about the Dogs salary cap position. They seem to be getting a lot of high priced imports. Interested in sending Luke Thompson our way?

Just opened my tele sports section to have the worst effing news for this once great club. FO has let down this club and has ruined the Dragons future of rising half Sully for a 30 something on the downward slide. I hope part of this blind deal is to play Hunt at hooker.. only way we'll keep Sully.

Absolutely ropable that no significance seems to be placed on retaining our best local juniors over imports.. and guys that is precisely what Ben Hunt is. A broncos junior not a Dragons one. Patronising words alone wont keep them here Craig Young.. deeds, such as a promise of a start at half next season, will.

No mention of the final coin offered to Hunt but it is good money we needed to bring some impact to our pack. Is this Hunt retention a sign that we intend fast tracking some of our best juniors into First next season. Coric is a good sized lad and Couchman would make a fine edge forward. Shereb has promise and is a big unit with skills. Needs better guidance than he has been having to bring out his best. Herring and Wallace are a pair of clever halves that can only improve with some first grade experience. Ditto Hooper and Purcell. jodragon wanna join me as Dragons co coach. Reckon we'd do a better job than the current rabble.

A little under 2 mil was mentioned. I'm thinking no way that's true. I guess he would have been hard pressed to get 1.5mil elsewhere and players usually accept a bit less to stay.
