I admit I was not aware of how the Top 30 works. Would help us if someone gave us a list of our top 30 players. So much vital info seems denied us supporters. What is DT?

So our top 30 squad for 2022 not in any order was:

That is all he has always been worth. Taking advantage and greedy, like Ebenezer Scrooge. Hearing FO caved in because Dogs and Titans were circling if they did not. Let 'em circle.. this bloke will have reached his used by date by next year, during which he should be mentoring our next generation of halfs .

If this is true, I am but I absolutely didn't until now. I shouldn't hate him. He's only taking advantage of the idiots who are offering 900k to a guy who has never won any major awards or a premiership and who will be 34 at the time the new contract starts. It's incomprehensible! He's a good player. Worth 750k max for the 2 years after next year.

Bewildering aint it. I wonder if FO had've caved in to Hunt if the Dogs and Titans had not been circling. I still can not get my head around why this bloke is so in demand.

I agree but as pointed out above, it's not his fault. He is taking the money being offered. Though I think at the time he was recruited, he was overpaid but worth more than 750k as Dragons had no one to play halfback. Now, offering him an extension is indeed bewildering. Makes no sense!

Mr Scrooge has still not accepted FO latest offer if I have the correct take from the Tele piece today. That is that since the latest offer Hunt is on record as saying that he wanted both parties to make a decision before he leaves for the WC next week.

the 750k + bonuses depending on team performance might be true. I hope it is. I still think it's a little generous but not bad. Halfbacks are expensive these days.

The juniors won't get a run unless there is more money next season. Some of our fringe players from this season will be elevated up the rankings and hopefully some of our juniors will be in the contracted 30 players.

So we wont see the likes of Coric, Couchman, Herring, Hooper. Sorry state of affairs. Still lucky our best juniors still have Ressies to play. Had they played Ressies last season then next year they'd have found themselves in footy limbo. Where does that leave Connor Muhleisen then, as he did play Ressies this year. Makes our decision to import a hooker even more baffling.

Have we had confirmation on whether Fuimono, Kerr are staying either? I read that Burns had been upgraded somewhere.. perhaps our website. He was interviewed and said he had always supported the 'red and whites'. Seems our media people release some things and not others. The Mole gets more info than us fans.

God have mercy! Imagine Raper, Gasnier and Smith today. They'd be 18, dominating lower grades but Griffin would let them go in favour of 30 something McGuire, Beale and Hunt
