But now, after one good year, open to debate how good it really was, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. After one good year and suddenly he is publicly lecturing Sullivan about being his understudy until the latter is in his mid-20s and then trying to tell the club, and leaking it to the public (who else would it have been?) Griffin should be the coach long term.

Can't believe they extended him on big money. For me the only debate was whether to extend on a greatly reduced salary or not offer him anything at all. Are we sure there isn't a option for the club in his last year, 2025?

Maybe it's 850 out of the cap and an extra 100k is TPAs. 850k a year out of the cap for a 34 year-old in the first year and 35 in the second is just mental! Even for someone who relies on setting up the players around him with excellent ball-playing, which Hunt doesn't do, it's too much. Personally I very much doubt Hunt will be first grade standard in 2025.
If Griffin has any say in the matter, Hunt will still be halfback in 2025 no matter his form.
