Well the twins sit nicely there, is that your doing or the clubs. They have fast tracked Toby Couchman and prob Ryan, so why not Josh Coric? FO need to resign JBD, for life. No way do they extend Bird, Fui, Moga or Kerr.

Dragons sign Sea Eagles forwards Alec Tuitavake & Viliame Fifita

St George Illawarra signed two of Manly’s most promising young forwards - possibly mid-season

St George Illawarra have poached two of the Manly Sea Eagles’ most outstanding young forwards. Front-rowers Alec Tuitavake and Viliame Fifita want to make an immediate switch to the Dragons.

They were both impressed after recently meeting coach Anthony Griffin. Their signings help the Dragons edge closer to filling their 30-man roster.

Ok. Well I know nothing about these two other than they are both 22 and both props. What I don't understand is the filling the 30 man roster. I thought the Couchman and Turner completed the 30 man squad.

Looks like Manly won't let them go mid season without a player trade or financial compensation. Who will the Dragons give up in return?
  • Aaron Woods
  • Josh Kerr
  • Paul Turner
are free to leave.

Getting rid of Woods and Turner for those 2 Manly players would be the biggest victory for the Dragons in some years. They probably have salary cap stress so need the Dragons to pay part of their salary.

Well I always said we needed 2 big props however both are untested in 1sts. Tuitavake comes from good bloodlines his uncle was Solomon Houmono this kid before covid hit played in the NSW Blues U18s and the 2019 Australian Schoolboys team so has talent and potential. The other lad Fifita is a big lad 194cm. Both are exactly what we need going forward in the future whether that is this season or next time will tell

Is it time to start emptying our bank accounts and stuffing pillowcases with cash?

Fui, Moga. Prob time we said goodbye to Woodsy.
Two promising forwards for a bunch of has beens. Will Manly want to trade for that.
Burns is another. Not a veteran but had many chances in first grade and never secured a spot. Now with the Couchman's and Shereb, the only way is down for Billy Burns. Maybe at Manly he could nail down a spot.
