And they may just may give us the go forward that we so desperately need. That is indeed great news on one hand and on the other this is the last roll of the dice for Griffin. He has hand picked these 2 obviously read my posts about needing 2 big props even though they are untested in 1sts fingers crossed
If Hook isn't reading your posts, he should be(y)

The Dragons remain hopeful of securing fellow Manly prop Viliami Fifita.

..
and now have. So we snare both from the Eagles. Has this been mentioned, Fifita is here on a swap deal with Aaron Woods who the Eagles want to mentor their other young props that have kept Fifita and Tuitavaki from playing Firsts. I maintained that Woodsy should have been given the same mentors job while with us. If he wasnt then FO missed a trick.

Cant find any stats on Tuitavake except he is a prop, 22, 106k. Fifita, same age and position but 6k bigger. So do these two now go into our Top 30?

Viliami Fifita definitely isn't coming this year?
Yes he is a mid season swap with Aaron Woods. He should be here next week is the word. Sorry to see Woodsy go.. always gave us 100% even tho these days this is far less than it was.

Gives 100% but has been on the slide for about 6 years. Doubt he'll see any first grade for Manly.

My personal view is that Griffin in the off season was tapped on the shoulder and advised that he needed to mend his relationship with the players especially our young rising talent that had been nurtured from juniors. Bring the players together and get results and bring in players we badly need..
Aren't you kinda contradicting yourself here. He may be mending relationships with some players but I doubt they will be players like Josh Coric.. and our other promising prop forwards.

Promote these 2 from Manly. The other Couchman. Dylan Egan, Sione Finau and Alexander Lobb. Maybe Aaron Johnson.

The other Couchman
Ryan is already on the list. How about some halves back up, Zach Herring/ Braxton Hall. The latter I'd really like to see given a crack some time soon. Put Rava in the pack and bring in Sione Finau. Like the look of this kid. Have him over Lobb, a good finisher but he has been taking defense reading lessons from Rava.

I reserve judgement on him. Ran 140m a couple of games back.. a piddling 84 on Sunday. I also reserve judgement on Jaiyden Hunt, hardly seen him play. I think he is better than Ressies but our nong of a coach wont give him a crack.
J. Hunt hasn't been given much of a go but he isn't playing well enough in NSW Cup.

You watched a Ressie game? Only way to tell who is going well and who isnt. Bloody joke that the NRL can not provide any more than a few piddling minutes of lower tier games. We have to part guess on certain player judgements when we should have all the gen in front of us..

Nobody is playing well in reserves
Well the team is going poorly but I expect there are some decent individual performances that we dont get to see. One instance I did see was a clever piece of play by Amone, where he stepped the defense, linked with his outside backs with some neat chain passing for a quite spectacular try. Either last week or week before.

Precisely. Why retain the bloke put him in your Top 30 then play him in your reserve team. How is he supposed to (and others for that matter) prove he is a First Grader. He is 24, 111k.. a big dude with an off load who is being under played if he only has an average 4 carries per game. Piss off Kerr who has never been Firsts standard and give Hunt a crack.
