Recruitment and Retention for 2023

Precisely. Why retain the bloke put him in your Top 30 then play him in your reserve team. How is he supposed to (and others for that matter) prove he is a First Grader. He is 24, 111k.. a big dude with an off load who is being under played if he only has an average 4 carries per game. Piss off Kerr who has never been Firsts standard and give Hunt a crack.
I liked Hunt in our 1st trial game this season, he went well. I have no idea what he did to Griffin. I'm not a fan of the way Griffin has enhanced or encouraged our young rising stars. I honestly believe that a change of coach will be the best tonic for our youngsters before they request a release. I've been very impressed how young Ford has gone at the Warriors so far this season. Which confirms my belief that Griffin needs to be shown the door

Chuckle of the week. Has he been able to bring out the best in any of our players. It is not in his make up.
His main problem is, as far as I can see, is he keeps recruiting aging, journeyman forwards and none of them work out. Burgess, McGuire, Woods, McCullough and now Murdoch-Masila.

His inability to enhance and encourage our rising stars. What is all this talk about him being so good at bringing along juniors, one of the main reasons we hired him. Some one got their wires crossed as he has failed miserably.

..and this bloke in Ressies Nick Lui-Toso another import, tho not seen him play. He is from Penrith Ressies, perhaps give a him a bench game to guage his worth too.
He might have been in Penrith Ressies some years ago, when Griffin was coach there, but for the last several years he has been playing in the QLD Cup.

That was one of the reasons given by that CEO Ryan Webb on signing up Griffin his proven track record of identifying and developing a clubs rising stars. Ryan Webb along with Andrew Lancaster should both be shown the door. Webb who hired Griffin had a background as CEO at the Tigers and commercial marketing with the Western Bulldogs. Lancaster has no footballing background. This is why I harp on about the board being responsible for the current situation we find ourselves in.

So this is our current board
The Board now consists of:
  • Andrew Lancaster (Chairman)
  • Craig Osborne
  • Graeme Gulloch
  • Peter Doust
  • Ralph Piggott
  • Ben Creagh
  • Genevieve Gordon
  • Board member TBC. So Doust still lurks in the shadows, Ben Creagh we all know at least he has a football background but has been eerily silent. That Genevieve Gordon is the daughter of the previous chairman Andrew Gordon her experience is GM of Win radio. Osborne is a lawyer. Gulloch former Steeler's chairman and Piggott director of a plastics company. So you would believe that Doust is the footballing voice and that is a great concern for me

Unfortuantely I think Ben Creagh is a Doust lackey.

Not divided? My information appears to be correct. Nobody else wants a bar of us
Great Endorsement for this club ..... I have just about had enough ......
He should be told to **** off immediately. Is he even better than the Feagai's? They both come across as good centres, average wingers to me.

I have consistently said we are on the nose. Now do you really believe that when in comes to crunch time in a game at least half of our 17 won't be rallying behind our coach or cpt. Just watch the recent replays when the team is standing behind the post waiting for another conversion to sail past you will see the great divide

Nailed it. The wrong faction was dismissed last year. That much is clear.

Have said the same and predicted this would happen once the loses started ......

Personally I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and believing him that he had nothing against coming to the Dragons but wasn't happy about leaving Sydney.
So you are saying he's just stupid? Seriously, it's not as if Wollongong is on the other side of the world. Or other side of the country. Or other side of the state. He meant he didn't want to come to the Dragons.
