Depends on how. If we are carrying a prop playing NSW Cup but taking 700k out of the cap, it'll be a big problem at that time. I hope Flanno gets a deal done but I think he should not budge from the 2 years with a 1 year option. Not sure in whose favour the option is but I guess the clubs.

I've been saying that there is a good opportunity for a 20-22yr old outside back for our dev squad next year.. and just saw a random dogs winger on Stevens instagram feed... hmmmm...

Dont know anything about him though, coupla games in nsw cup last year and this for the dogs.. only a couple.. doesnt look like huge acceleration but he does outrun plenty in those tries.. did get 2 tries and 222m last weekend in nsw cup against a lower ranked team.

Hope it's a prop from the Broncos and in regards to Wishart he certainly has stepped up when required but will he want to leave a club that has enhanced his skillset, has a great culture and will be playing semi finals football for the next few seasons. The only plus is he won't be a starter in a full strength Storm team so we're in with a chance.

o a few people have suggested a Hunt/Reynolds swap might be feasible for 2025.. thats only if the Broncos feel like they need Adam gone.. I think it suits both parties, 1-2yr contracts perhaps.. but thats just a fan theory.. the broncos would need a replacement 7 also.

o Haas is apparently agitating.. but I dont see what coming here would do for him.. but with all the young talent they have.. maybe we are thinking of getting our 2nd prop from them.. perhaps RCG + whoever.

o No idea about the Manly back though..

o This all assumes we have free spots, im sort of hearing we might already have a couple shipped off but unannounced.. hopefully thats the case so we can actually try to close some deals post-season.

Hetherington has been linked to 5 clubs (assumably we are one of em(, I havent watched him.. ppl seem to rly like him.. but 95kg 25yrs old.. 7.6m per run.. 2nd row or lock.. I mean that sounds a lot like a Couchman or Stewart.. granted hes quite a few years in front of all of them... maybe on a short contract if it was instead of Eisenhuth.... but i thought we were after another big body.

Yeah don't see where he fits to be honest, plus we have other priorities

Couple of revisions.. so Kobe would be 26yrs old by next season.. so its 4.5yrs in front of the couchmans.. they reckon hes bigger than 95kg despite what the website says.. it could only be to play lock, nothing else makes sense.... maybe Flanno feels the Couchmans dont have that skillset.. and it can only be instead of retaining Eisenhuth.. but in any case.. we are one of 5 clubs in discussions, so for now its an iron in the fire only.

Is that the Broncos prop? I guess if Lawrie is leaving and RCG isn't happening, might be ok. Is he any better than Frank Molo or Sele?

LATEST from Danny Weidler at Fairfax: Turned up at Concord a day early for a media conference... there was an upside - saw a happy looking Jack Bird walking out of Tigers HQ.

A happy Bird translates to a happy me and BOD as it releases a top 30 spot for someone superior.

o The Bird smile could mean nothing, but if hes back at Tigers with his manager negotiating for a 2nd chat.. you'd have to think there is a reasonable chance they have a deal made.

o Schneider I couldnt find verified anywhere else.. it only makes sense if hes a Nov 1 chat for hunts replacement in 2026.. there would be zero point coming here in 2025 for a backup role that he already has at a club going for 5 straight grand-finals.
