I think Douhi is pretty good but I wonder in what position he is supposed to play? Unless Flanno thinks he can be a halfback. I think he's a handy goalkicker as well.

Put pressure on Sloan and in case LKT needs more time in lower grades. Though I wouldn't consider him at 13. A bit too injury prone to play in the middle.
If he could fill in at halfback for 2 years, that would be perfect. Let Hunt go a year early, save a lot of money for upgrading some of the promising juniors.

And yah I think Douhi (if we signed him) would be the dirt-cheap replacement for Max Feagai or Bird.. covering Ctr, maybe 1, and maybe 5/8, but I dont think its high on our priority list.. and I think it depends which of the more marquee type players we manage to get over the line.. i.e. if we get Gutho it changes a lot of things, but wont be easy to make it work with someone from the northern beaches who wont move.
Various rumours that Ramsey will retire and Ravalawa is in talks for the UK + if Hunt goes.. we could easily get to a place where we need 6 recruits.. not even including Lawrie or Fifita going.. i.e. we will need some players who are happy to be in reserve grade.

Dave I agree , but just and I know its a risk , if the guy is over his injury , injuries he would be a good pickup ....... Lets put it this way would you take him if he had not got injured last season ? I'm thinking if Pap from the Storm can get over 2 bad injuries this guy may do the same ........Surely he wouldn't be on big money ....... So would I take a chance with him , I say yes ........

If he could make it as a halfback for 2 years, he'd be a good buy. Otherwise not.
