It was a single game filling in for injury... You cannot even compare their careers, potential future sure he might have more upside, but forget same level he's not even in the same building to Gutho in comparing their careers.

I never said Allen was a star. If he is so crap, why did Flanno recruit him? Gutho is well past his best and was never among the best fullbacks. Why do you think Parra want him TF out there? We have Sloan who will hopefully come good and if not, Allen to take his place and if neither play well enough, Holmes can move to fullback.

Yar, he is 2025 Top30 unless he is medically retired.. I'm thinking it might be something decided early-season... but only guessing.. has been training for a few months now according to reports.
No one is saying hes crap LOL dont back pedal. He's great cover but hes not a leader and will have to work his way back from injury in one position or another providing good competition for a spot. But we still need another leader and Gutho fills that role if we sign him, in whichever position Flanno wants him.

Oh and no Corey didnt play in that GF that you said he did, he was gone by then to the dogs. And no it wasnt the full origin series it was filling in for 1 game as I said - game 3, Val and Grant had blinders and Corey got binned in the last 10min lol.

Just relax and try to be optimistic with whatever the new roster is, whats the point in fighting it? If Flanno wants Gutho there is a good reason for it.. he is slowly shaping his roster... still a long long long way to go before we can get our pick of the talent.
Also dont forget how far we have come in 12 mths.. at this point last year we we couldnt sign anyone.. like 'anyone'... the only ones we got were guys like Eisenhuth, Allan, Brown, RFM & a last minute Leilua.. dont get me wrong, I hope Allan brains it for us and is a real surprise packet.. but he was about to retire after the last injury, probably good depth along with Feagai.

Don't you see that's the problem! Why can't you understand. Gutho was good, not among the best fullbacks but good. He's not anymore. He's still ok but sliding. Woulf much rather stick with Slaon and if he doesn't play better, Allen and if he isn't good enough, Holmes.

If you were backing Flanno 12mths ago, back him now, he's more qualified than any of us.
Exactly right, not only that but the signings we are making arent by desperately overpaying on long term deals for bog average players. He's building a squad around a select few and making everyone earn thier position which is great for culture and fixes the cap in the process. Not to mention all the positive change around the club in general and finally starting to make some hard, smart decisions.

Well there must be a discipline issue with the Roosters prop Tyrell May tapped on the shoulder today told to pack his bags very surprisingly. His stat's were not that bad last season, avg 13 hits ups for avg 113m a game, he's 6' tall 108kg maybe what we need

Yea its a strange one, either hes been agitating for a while and they're playing the usual media game to make themselves look good or hes done something in the background which will no doubt come out soon if so. Player wise fits the bill of what we need though, as you say might depend on the lodge deal as well, or offloading Rava/Lawrie etc.
Cheers. Hope he can get back to some footy but in the mean time if we find someone worthy of a top 30 spot then unfortunately we should medically retire Ramsey. We need all top 30 spots on players who can contribute to 1st grade next year.

I can't see young Sloan at fb next season after listening to the coach speaking. In fact can't see him in 1sts next season. You would have to think that our run on backs would be barring any injuries:

I would like to see the kid on the wing because of his speed and height would make a good target kicking on the last in an attacking position but don't know if the coach is thinking that because he is very poor bringing the ball back. Just my thoughts
