In these wet conditions your main priority is to stop the opposition before the advantage line in the middle third of the field. The fewer missed tackles then the better position you start from especially running with the wind behind you. Personally if we start with the wind my instructions would be don't wait until the last look for the early 40/20 push their wingers back into the corners make their big forwards run back up the field hit hard look to force the error.
