They aren't one of the teams I typically dislike but about now I'd prefer almost anyone beat them so they don't win 5 in a row. I think they aren't going to. I think they are behind a few teams.

Melbourne my pick to win it before a ball was kicked and I think after these first couple rounds I’d stick with that. They’ll get better as the season goes on and Stefano will be a massive point of difference compared to last year.

Yes I agree but isn't it sad that the competition is fairly predictable this early in the season. Years ago it was a lot more difficult with the comp spread more evenly

Easy to say in hindsight, isn't it? I think Tigers are in trouble for a while yet. If this team comes good, and it's early yet, they are going to lose half of them due to salary cap issues in the next few years. But yeah, I liked the way they played against Parra and Dolphins. Gold Coast as well for that matter. I very much doubt this team playing tomorrow is going to put any others to the sword.

Big day tomorrow. If they dish up another performance like the last two and reserve grade keeps going from strength to strength, I don't think Flanno will have any choice but to make big changes. Seems Nick Tsougranis is out. Hope it's not serious whatever is wrong. He can't have been dropped. Been really impressive and getting better.

Papenhuyzen is fit to play. In my view, there was never any doubt. I'm interested to see how well Wishart plays as a starting halfback. Just for the sake of argument. Personally I think his game is more like that of a good 5/8.
Also Warbrick is back for them moving to the wing so the winger Anderson, who was injured last week moves to centre to cover for Meany. I don't think they will lose anything at all as a result of this. So much for the injury crisis.
