Sloan was in fine touch, I was worried he'd be tentative with the JDB cut over his eye.
Hunt one of his best, his try was at a crucial time.
I'm not a stats man, I watch the game and watch the 1% efforts.
RFM decoy run on Hunts try, he has the awareness to stop dead at the D line, big play on a crucial try. Check out the replay.

Plus I collected a cool $141 for correctly picking the try scorers. Dragons - Lomax Sloan and Rav , Warriors Johnston and Zelezniak. Plus my kiwi mate shouted 5 schooners all in all a pleasing night

Agree especially the decoy run on Hunts try 9/10 times it would have been a no try if he hadn't done that. I like the effect on the game when JDB comes off the bench, BMM has surprised me. Rava misses him mate and grew another leg tonight running harder than he has all season, we are all going to miss his mate next year. Sloan again displayed his speed and evasion skills made a very good opposition winger look very ordinary.

His best game ever for the Dragons.
I thought RFM's game was very underrated tonight. Seems no commentators gave him any wraps during the game but he was really good. He's much better on an edge than in the middle.

He was our best forward tonight going forward 147m, Su'a next best 125m but they pale into insignificance when you look at AFB 233m. God why couldn't we have signed him for next season

The big difference tonight in run metres is that our back 4 shared the workload

Has Lomax been in better form than this season. His sprint and leap to mark that bomb AFL style then dive over is one of his best tries over many seasons for mine. Having been forcibly removed for some unknown reason, I'd not be surprised if he played crap as a form of protest. But playing below his best is not in his DNA

Sloan has turned the corner and is now looking very much a top grade player. His attack remains his forte tho. How about his discrete in and away to finish his 80m blitz. Blink and he is gone.

3. JDB (remember what you don't see in the stats, when he takes the ball, runs right to the line and then passes, creating opportunities for those outside to at least make some good metres.
