So from the modern era who do you rate as our best fullbacks. Langlands #1.. but he also played quite a bit at centre for the Kangaroos.
#2 Billy Slater
#3 Gary Jack
#4 Gary Belcher
#5 Brett Mullins.
Mick Potter and our own Brian Johnson arguably the two best to never wear the 'Roos jumper imo.

This will probably be controversial but for a few years there, 3 or 4 in a row, Jarryd Hayne was better than Slater, IMO. He single-handedly carried Parramatta. Including in that game against the Dragons in the first week of the finals in Bennett's first year as coach when he was almost unstoppable. Later his career was sabotaged by himself.

Yes. Hayne was great at club level. At Test level he only played 11 Tests in six years back when we toured regularly.
