First of all, well done to @jodragon again and
RedV01. Tipped all but 2 correctly and everyone got Parramatta v Wests Tigers wrong. | Match | Winner | Why |
| 1. | Cronualla v Manly | Cronulla | Manly without Trbojevic won't beat a relatively good and consistent team, which unfortunately Cronulla are. |
| 2. | Brisbane v Canterbury | Brisbane | I would have backed them even before many Grubs were 'apparently' stuck down with Covid. |
| 3. | North Queensland v Gold Coast | North Queensland | I keep waiting for Gold Coast to come good but..... still waiting. |
| 4. | Wests v South Sydney | Souths | Obviously. |
| 5. | Newcastle v Parramatta | Newcastle | Newcastle have a good team. Should be much better and Parramatta are overrated. |

- Dragons (god give me strength if Griffin picks Kerr in front of 3 or 4 other forwards again)

| 3. | North Queensland v Gold Coast | North Queensland | Why? Good question. I'd say Fifita is getting better every week. |

There are no "easy wins" in the NRL but it seems Newcastle and the Canterbury Bullgrubs are a little easier than others. No wonder Tyson Frizell is so angry. The fact Newcastle easily beat Sydney Rorters in round 1 should give Dragons fans a lot of hope for tomorrow.

GCRV who all got only 2 wrong last week and everyone got Souffs v Tigers wrong. So it's really only one wrong.
Su'a in confirmed with a syndismosis, or high ankle sprain which are a little like hamstrings. Can take a long time to heal fully. Of course I'll still back them against Wests Tigers.

Broncos beat Shonkies. I think if near full strength Melbourne or Penrith play the Canterbury Bullgrubs, it's pretty much certain but other than that, any team could lose to any other.

The only games one can tip with any certainty are those including Melbourne and Penrith. They will lose some games but rarely.

Jesus last week was bad! I got the last 3 right and first 5 wrong. Looks like everyone else who bothered got 4 and 4 so let's call it a draw and move on. I guess the main lesson is that there are very few certainties though this week looks much easier to tip.
