As for Flanno, not rating Dragons juniors seems to be a thing with him. Given it has taken this long to select the Couchmans. But Ackers lack of leg speed worried me. He might miss a few tackles if someone quick runs just to either side of him.

100% The step up is big, faster and better players as they go up a grade.

Paul Gallen was slow as well.

Giving out sprays might be a motivation tactic of his, not that he doesn't rate the player. Though he definitely seems to have his favourites and on the other hand, blokes who can't seem to do anything right according to Flanno. Bird and Kyle, until he almost started crying at halftime last week, are obviously 2 of his favourites.
