if I was going to pick someone to go to #1 it would be Lomax.
So everyone assuming Sloan has been dropped. No doubt I'd also have Zac there as a sub. Mary shudda persevered with him way back and hed now be in the middle of a great career, instead of leaving us in three months.

Nothing is assumed from me, the "if" was important there... but it is a good week to do it if he's going too though.. lots of in form outside backs.

We will know what the coach is thinking on game day!

How many of the running meters is from like 80-90m breaks? I see a few players have massive run meters but then watching the last game a few of them were from 80m breaks.

You don't get many of those opportunities in 1st grade, especially in a mid-table team.

So how does that detract from his performance. Sione Finau should be playing at the top level, just that we have a crap coach.

You don't get those same opportunites for breaks in 1st grade. A better way to look at his performance is his kick return meters without the long range breaks. It's a bit like Sloan who could get 150rms but one of those runs is an 80m break. He's also coming back from injury with his knee still strapped, no need to rush him when we have wing depth.

A crap coach that has helped the team to win 9 games?

True but they can only beat who is in front of them.

Sloan playing cup today.
Now will you all start believing the media and Flanno lie...
As I indicated to you earlier, that cover story about his strained hammy was a way to drop a player without the intense scrutiny from the media and fans. Will be an interesting media interview with the coach pre or post match Panthers game tomorrow

WTF Flanagan said the other day Sloan will miss the game because of injury not from being dropped. Now we see him back in Ressies? If I was Sloan I'd be looking at a way out of the club as it appears that he cant win even tho now his defensive attitude is stronger. Surely the coaching staff can see that his job as last line is made much harder when we have a middle as brittle as a twig.
Lot of first grade experience in that team! I like Flanno is dropping players who play badly. Just wish one who has been in first grade all year wasn't a protected species.

Depends how Mathew goes tomorrow I suspect.. If he goes well noone will care... If he has a rly dud game though... it will be a tough situation.

My only fear is if we don't score many points, Mathew will be blamed.. But im optimistic that we won't leak as many points.. Aslong our forwards keep us in the arm wrestle.

I dont mind being the only Sloan believer on this forum. Are the coaching staff blind and not noting that it is the brittle middle that is making life so much harder for Sloan as the last line. JDB is carrying this poor excuse for strong defenders.
