Front-rowers Zane Musgrove and Jaiyden Hunt also got through a mountain of work. Musgrove amassed 208 running metres and made 22 tackles with zero misses, while Hunt scored a try, got a linebreak, six tackle busts and made a team-high of 37 tackles with zero misses.
Musgrove made his way back , time Hunt got some game time too.
Ressies just being pipped by the Raiders like our firsts were today.

Dragons 34- Tigers 20, second win on the trot by Flegg. Seems they have a smart pair of play makers in Pascoe and Perryman as the team is scoring plenty of tries.

  • Stewart back at fullback.
  • Shereb back in the backrow. I wonder if he will retain the position when the extended reserves come back. Sometimes needs to give him a massive baking and if he still goes missing, that's it. Dropped and not offered a new contract.

  • Massive turnover from last year.
  • Egan is surely pushing for NSW Cup promotion even though I think he's only 17.
  • Purcell still at 13. I wonder of they think very highly of #9 Hodgson or consider Purcell a better #13.

Jacob Host, Hame Sele, Taane Milne, Cook are playing really well for Souths. Also Isaac Thompson when he's called upon. In fairness, unlike Jackson Ford, those were let go by McGregor or Price. I think Cook was let go by Price and the rest McGregor.

Tyrell Fuimano has disappeared? Not a favourite, but would prefer him to BMM.

Yes he is the one Morgan Morgan. Big wraps on him.
Scored a couple of slashing tries last week. Just like in this clip.

It's easy to tell me and Morgan Morgan apart. I'm the handsome one with much more hair on my head:cool:.

It's really promising this guy has already been promoted to NSW Cup even though I think he's available for Flegg this year and next.

'&%$#). I'm doing much better than Dean Young, Paul McGregor and Nathan Brown. They don't have a blade between them.

Agree about Savelio Tamale.

Sione Finau is also going better than Feagai or Lobb. There were big hopes regarding the Feagai's but they haven't really kicked on. They are only fringe first graders.

I'm going to take a stab at next years team:
  1. Sloan
  2. Finau
  3. Tamale
  4. Lomax
  5. Feagai or Ravalawa
  6. Amone
  7. Hunt
  8. Lawrie
  9. Liddle
  10. F. Molo
  11. Couchman
  12. Couchman
  13. JDB

  14. Bird
  15. Musgrove
  16. Coric
  17. Suli
Bird has to be trained to play 20min at hooker. This team won't win a premiership but it's moving in the right direction.

Egg on face mate. Eric Eric there is also a clip of this kid when he was 12 playing League, so he does have a pure footy background. Not sure why he found his way to rugby yawnion, as he was already playing for the Waratahs evidently when our talent scouts spotted him .

Guys tell me why Flegg seems to be the poor cousin of junior league when imho it provides the perfect stepping stone to First Grade. Our website does not even have a Flegg Match Centre for game day like it does with Ressies and even girls footy, have to go to the NSWRL site instead. Nor is it televised like the old U20 Cup comp was. Time Flegg was given worthwhile recognition.

The other thing I wanna have a rant over is why are the game blogs on NSWRL Match Centre so devoid of detail. They seem to cover only the negative side, such as penalties, errors, dangerous tackles, never positive stuff like line breaks, try assists, a try saving tackle plus other general plays. In other words a way to follow the flow of the match.

Zach Herring
Surely Herring is a better bet than Turner at 5/8, who has been a joke of a signing. First played in the halves, then moved to fullback now back in the halves. That tells me he stinks in all positions and unlike Moses Mbye he is not a good utility. I will watch him today to confirm my suspicions.
You know anything about this bloke like what position he plays. I did see him in pre season vids, is tall with a thinnish physique, but know nothing else.

Our Flegg side are sitting middle of ladder after 7 rounds, while the Roosters are equal top.

Both Flegg and Ressie games are being played at Wentworth Park. Isn't that the old dog track.

I was wondering about Herring too. Has he been stinking it up in the NSW Cup?

Your guess is as good as mine. Wont get the chance to watch him today same as Braxton Hall who seems to have gone walkabout after being named as starting half at beginning of the season.
Be interested in seeing how Sully goes in Hall's spot.
