Illawarra continue on their merry way in the SB Ball. Dished out another thrashing to go top of the table. St George slip to third. Too early to say if that flatters St George because they've already played North Sydney who are just a laughable rabble. At least according to the results so far.

yeah but often times the best players in the juniors don't kick on. Think Evander Cummings, Beau Henry, Eddie Blacker and what's the name of that Dragons jnr prop who was hyped but ended up going to Newcastle and then Gold Coast before being released in his mid 20s? Ironically, he was the best of those 4. Lot of Dragons fans were angry about Cummings being let go but he turned out to not even be good enough for NSW Cup.

Seemed almost everyone except Wayne Bennett thought Beau Henry was set to become the next Andrew Johns.

No Ressies. Was about to post same.

Our Ressies warmed up for the season yesterday smashing the Maggies 58/6 at Mudgee. May turn out to be a master stroke bringing Josh Ralph and Jonah Glover to the club should they prove to be Firsts standard.

Flegg play this arvo. Pity it is always such a hassle trying to find anything about this comp.

One more observation from this:
  • That is a gun 1~5 for the NSW Cup! Everyone one of them with a significant amount of NRL experience or in the case of #2 and #4, very highly regarded young players.

Might be pretty easy to swap them out for the first grade 1~5.
