6. Nicholas Quinn

Nick has grown up since I last saw him in a full Dragons match. Much bigger but has not lost any of his organizing skill. Was in everything good the Flegg boys did on Sunday.

Hopefully he'll also be good in the open age level. Remember Drew Hutchinson and Beau Henry were superstar halfbacks in the junior grades.

He'd be 20 now so no baby. If he continues to produce this footy quality he may even bypass Ressies. Have to wait and see as Flegg seems to be the forgotten grade. It seems to have less games live covered than the other grades.

They scored 3 unanswered tries to get scores back to level and then we went in front again, 26-22. I'm so frustrated with the defence throughout the entire club! This has been going on for years!

Christian Tuipulotu was up and about for his first game against his former club with the Dragons winger scoring four tries in their 38-10 win over Blacktown. The 23-year-old also got five linebreaks, six tackle busts and 197 running metres. Tuipulotu played 12 games for Blacktown Workers over three seasons before he was informed by Manly he was free to negotiate with rivals. He was released in February to sign a two-year deal with the Dragons.

Josh Ralph also had a day out for the Red V with the five-eighth setting up five tries — three of those for Tuipulotu. He got five linebreak assists too as well was 103 running metres. Ralph, 26, is a new face at the Dragons after playing for French club Toulouse Olympique last year. Prior to that he spent time with Mounties and the Bears.

Up front Toby Couchman was huge with 137 metres and 29 tackles — no misses — for the Dragons.

Ryan Couchman is in the extended squad for first grade. He'll go back to NSW Cup for the game unless there are 2 or 3 late injuries in the forwards before the first grade game.
