This side has been badly coached. The multitude of games when we led at the break only to fall apart after it.

That's officially the end of the line for the Jersey Flegg side this year. To hold the Raiders to 24 with them scoring 2 late tries suggests the defence is finally improving. Unfortunately, not soon enough.

Bit gutted about the 2 losses, but first grade more than made up for it.
Can anyone confirm if Marshke has re-injured himself? I saw he was off the field after 3minutes.. we had noone on the bench to replace him with, even Haele was playing fullback.. im guessing its the hamstring.. but dunno..

Flegg wrap.
Raiders are a good big side that control the ruck well. Their 19 smashed us.
We have a side that could beat them but we played extremely poor.
First try Jack made a break and gave it to Cyrus for 59m try.
Second try from from a bad pass and a lucky bounce and that was our attack.
Halfs were poor again unable to control the attack or get repeat sets.
Ben was good under the high ball but made poor decisions in attack.
Jesse made a great chase tackle but was average again
TK had a shocker.
Centres were solid.
Middles were terrible.
Nick T broken rib in a hard hit, his season is over just like the team finals chances.

Jesse hurt shoulder, off by halftime.
Jonah hurt knee, spent second half limping around.
So basically no spine for half the game.
I'm struggling to think of a standout.
Lowlight Raiders player scores a try by performing three 360 and bumping off Jacko Rava and Jonah.
Watching Horse closely, I wouldn't sign him.

geez injuries alone basically end the season.. might have to get very creative next week to fill those squads.
it doesnt help first grade either with Brown and Marshke now out + Kyle.. Bird/LKT/Hunt r gonna have to get us thru 3 more games.

Horsburgh, I feel like he is our #1 target. I do hope Flanno can turn him around, given hes playing for a contract it does make me a lil nervous to see a review like above..

I'll add it was a poor decision to put Haele at FB, he spilt the first bomb for Raiders to score.
When Jesse was injured, H went to halfs.
Sav went FB Jacko centre and Benny wing, that’s how they should of started.

There are a few thoughts for NSW Cup:
o They need to win 2/2 to be any chance of finals
o LKT not named in any grade, so hes gonna slot in somewhere.. possibly @cup_fullback
o Marshke hasnt finished a game I dont think in months.. not sure if his shoulder is up for this week.. and if not god knows who plays
o Glover was hobbling last week justa said.. again.. is he good.. and if not god knows who plays half..
Thoughts on Flegg:
o Season over now so if they want to try anything.. go for it
o Cyrus back into the 2nd row, good to see how he fares, sad that its at the expensive of NickyT and his busted rib
o Think Borg got extended recently, gonna be very tricky next year seeing who plays in NSW Cup and Flegg, guys like Kirk, Williams, Borg, Rumble competing for back 3 positions.. possibly Sloan ends up in Cup if Holmes plays fullback.. if not that then CT or SFinau is dropping back.. its just interesting.. its quite a puzzle.. esp once Saifiti Jr and whoever else are ready to move up into Flegg.

Good worker, have seen him a few times, Dragons junior via Blacktown way i'm pretty sure, has good leg drive, watched him about 2 years ago when he was playing SG Ball, was the quiet achiever, not sure if he makes it or not but wont let you down.

Seen Jonah today he and Jesse will play, needled up.
There will be late changes to the backline I believe.
Good kid, solid player, has had a lot of injuries.
