A good mix of local juniors and imports. Liking the Penrith juniors we keep poaching. Notice a few from Ipswich High too where we picked up Loko Tonga Jr and Peckham-Harris. Forgotten his first name for the moment

Kyan Hjaltason, the club doesn't rate him, he has offers from other clubs, he could ask for a release.

Thanks for the info even if I don't like it. Need to concentrate on youth. First order of business is LKT to play 5/8.

Just on LKT not being picked because of form, maybe Flanno didn't want him to break 50 tackles, score 10 tries and assist in another 20. Flanno just wanted him to show he could tackle, remain cool under pressure and then just play his natural game.

I'm looking forward to seeing that, I gave myself a brain aneurysm trying to work out the age of each player and whether they would be backing up for a 2nd year of Steelers SG Ball... I have a feeling maybe half the Top 17 might have been there in 2024.

Could potentially be a big year for the Steelers making a run at the title.. a spine of Mason Phillips (I suspect), Kade Reed, Aaymon Fitzgibbon and im not sure if Lucas Borg plays again (assuming Kirk wont), Meafou as captain up front.. Amone(s), maybe a Buchanan (or maybe not), just seems like a team that will play finals.. but it is a competitive comp to be fair... lots of good squads, and we are split between the 2 teams.

Junior Saifiti will decide what SGB team he plays in when he moves down.
