Wouldn't it be nice if the club could identify and sign a young forward so it could have him play for the Dragons in his prime and then ship him off to another club at the back end of his career.
If it's RCG, wouldn't that mean a potential swap for Lomax? Seems Flanno just doesn't like Lomax. Maybe he has at times been a bit overrated. He doesn't break the line much. He's more a really harder worker with pretty good ball skills. Having said that, he's still the best centre the club has.

Campbell-Gillard is 30 , a max three/four years left. Lomax 24/25 a good 8/10 years ahead of him. Hardly a fair swap. Frank Molo for him seems a better deal. Prop for a prop.

Buy someone, give Marschke a crack or promote one of our juniors. If we buy, only need someone with a good kicking game to replace him. Surely his defense and ball playing is better.

You watch on Wednesday when the team is released and there will be NO CHANGES again. Bird will still be there, the guys stinking up our middle defense will still be there. Muhleisen with be too, still slowing our go forward. No removing the sook either. Be interesting to see if our attitude and therefore performance improves without him.
