Yep. Good player but a bit overrated and not what the Dragons need.750k a season. We need backs, not forwards.

was going to hit the market, got wind we were interested and re-signed with warriorsWarriors extend Metcalf until 2028
I'm not sure Hannay didn't have a quiet word to him and suggest he leave with GC talking the talk publicly about wanting him to stay. His stats last season were probably good but way below Haas or Yeo or JFH who he is on similar or a little more money than.tino
I thought he agreed to stay at the Titans.tino is definitely going to market. we are interested by reports, what would you pay for him?
Funny. But seriously, as you said, he was never on the market. It's not as if we missed out on his signature.was going to hit the market, got wind we were interested and re-signed with warriors![]()
Correct Eric, but watch the media painting us as having missed another player. Cant we just have an open trade period like the AFL do, would stop all this media BS.Funny. But seriously, as you said, he was never on the market. It's not as if we missed out on his signature.
What about him?tino
He's ok but is he any better than the centres Dragons already have? I can tell you he isn't better than Holmes. Not exactly what we need but Holmes could move to wing or if the talk is true about Gutho, move Holmes to centre.
STAR SHARK SHOPPED AROUND
Sharks centre Jesse Ramien has reportedly been given permission to chat with other clubs and has even been shopped to the Gold Coast. That’s according to Code Sports, who have also reported that up to six clubs have shown interest in signing Ramien from 2027.
The Sharks star is under contract for 2026, so is set to hit the open market in a week’s time on November 1, but Cronulla aren’t opposed to letting Ramien depart a season early. If Ramien exits the club it will clear $500,000 off the Sharks’ books.
At 28, Ramien still has plenty to offer. He averaged 135 metres and three tackle busts a game in 2025, starting in the centres in 24 appearances to help Cronulla reach a preliminary final.
