Round 1 Titans v Dragons

Seems Alec Tuitavaki is not in Flannos plans. Is Eisenhuth an edgie. I will be watching him closely, so will Luc Leiliua.

If Flanno Jr can replicate his last game, as well as our middle defense, specially keeping Tino in check, Dragons by 10. If not Titans will win.

I'd also pick at least one of the Couchmans before Eisenhuth
A no brainer. Seems Flanagan does not rate the better of the twins, Toby.
The pressure will be on Eisenhuth to cement his spot. Personally I dont think he can now we have Leilua. His experience would, tho, be useful in Ressies.

Flanagan and Connor were giving the team no direction at all
You talking about the first or second stanza as Flanagan was surprisingly outstanding in the first. Second, betting Mule was under orders to get more ball to the sook to make him look good. As a result we lost a lot of our attacking structure with less ball in the hands of our premier play maker..

Well done. But are they in their best positions. Lomax is a specialist centre, not a winger. Bird should be in Ressies, but Flanagan and he are buddies from their Sharks days, so it is jobs for the boys, ala Hook. If the disloyal sook plays on Zacs side he better give him plenty of ball, otherwise we are gonna have an unhappy Zac Lomax on our roster.
Just a Mug Fan Just a Mug Fan thinks Zac might be on the outer. Is there any other explanation? Last part of last year he was the one bright spot in the team. Now it looks like he's being set up to fail in a position where he's wasted at best, unsuited to at worst.

If the case, which I hope to hell it is not, then we have another coach playing favorites to the detriment of a superior player. This is patently 'jobs for the boys' and is a big NO, NO for me.

Doesn't rate Finau or Tamale either. Doesn't rate Egan.

Rates Bird very highly.

Talking about second half of the CS when Hunt and Liddle were off. Kyle Flanno had a shocker.

One move I do like from Flanno is removing the horrible Matt Feagai from our back line. Does not matter what position Lomax plays, his defense is always solid and will only leave his wing if he reckons he can nail his man to save a try.

He's already unhappy unfortunately

You mean Charity Shield. Why bring up that. It is what he did the following game to make amends that opened my eyes and betting made his old man very pleased.
Yes. Why not consider both games? I agree he deserves his spot for round 1 based on the second trial. But he's still on notice that form like in the CS isn't acceptable.

I think we need more in attack. Specially because their backrowers might be faster than anyone but Sloan in our 17.
We don't lack fire-power in the back rowers. Sloan time to shine he is against an unknown to me opposition fullback. Hopefully we can start a few attacking sets in their 40m line otherwise we will be hard up scoring length of field tries or even creating tries from half way. If Sloan can trail through back inside the middle of the park against tiring forwards we may just create opportunities but all that is down to field position when they turn over the ball.

Has obviously not seen them in partnership in Ressies. He should have made it his business to watch them. With little knowledge of how they play together he views them individually as either lacking ability or too raw for Firsts. There is about three years age difference between the pair I believe with Tamale still only 19, or has he now turned 20.

Who replaces Kyle Flanagan? What's Bird done in the trials that warrants him being removed from the side?

Flanagan was good in 3 out of 4 halves of footy. Bird was solid in his minutes played. Lomax has been carrying a back injury.

Eisenhuth was one of our better performers, yet people want him dropped for RFM.

A few of you are talking about speed when the replacement players aren't fast either.

Even Sloan has already shown a bit of improvement.

For all the talk about Sullivan, well Flanno outplayed him in the trial.

The shit talk about Flanno is pathetic. We've had 3 out of 4 great halves of footy, one poor half that was disappointing for everyone (including the coach).
