Probably on Flanno's advice, or order, they are both to be eased into first grade this season. Being eased in doesn't include playing them every week when there's no chance of making the finals.

Shoud have "eased" them both in for Ryan's debut.

At least BMM isn't an automatic pick each week. I don't even blame him for his form. Just don't understand WTF was going through Griffin's little mind when he signed him.

How in any universe is replacing our workhorse and strongest defender with the polar opposite in Bird a smart move Carr. Heard he was to be used as a utility, now at lock he is certain to stink up our go forward . The only thing we have left to play for is to avoid the wooden spoon, with Bird playing full mins we are now likely to achieve this humiliation..

Flanagan is going to regret holding onto Hunt and Bird when he should be blooding our next gens, locals or imports

Sully's departure is now confirmed with the Tigers offering him a four year contract. Will he be any better than Brooks, time will tell | guess. We should get a decent payout for the remaining two years of his contract.

No way will Bird play full min in the middle. I tip between 50~60min. Unless there is a first half injury.

It's the old Griffin tactic of trying to drag the opposition down to our level and hopefully get them in a close game.

The backline was already slow but now...... Don't know what to say. Laughably slow?

Someone tell Rava just because players can run down the sideline and straight over Sloan, doesn't mean they can do it against everyone else.

Great commitment by this team. Resolute, playing for each other, Hunt has been outstanding allowing Amone to take on the line. Young Sloan attack is a glimpse of what the future can hold if he can get his defence in order. The forward pack hasn't been soft matching the more highly vaunted Eels pack where everyone believed would just roll over us, well they haven't. But 40 to go
