Last 2 games Eisenhuth's stats have been laughably bad. WTF is going on? I guess at this point we can be glad BMM isn't in the 17.

It would appear that the coach likes Eisenhuth's defensive stat's he's made 111, avg 37 tackles a game, missed only 4 so 1.33 per game. Even I admit that is very good. However his attacking stat's are awful, he avg 7.67 hit ups a game for an avg of 40m that's about 5m so never makes the advantage line. He scored 4 tries in the 2021 season and non since. So the coach has to balance the plus v the minus. He's not going to scare the opposition in attack.

Also his tackles are weak. He tackles around the legs. Not effective anymore. They get quick play the balls.

Legs tackles have always been the go but nowadays you have to have two in the tackle if you have those defenders tgat are old school and tackle around the legs. That should be part of your defensive structures

That's what happened with the Chad Townsend try. Ran straight through BMM's attempted tackle, Eisenhuth went for a legs tackle, Townsend kept the legs pumping, dragged Eisenhuth to the line and fell over it.

Eisenhuth is the result of the 10 year-old or more idea that an import from Melbourne has to be good. Even if Melbourne didn't want him anymore.

Smith and Widdop were good for us but yeah, no idea why Flanno wanted Eisenhuth and don't like him continuing to pick Eisenhuth not only in the 17 but in the run on 13. No wonder he only makes 5m per hit up. Opposition packs must be secretly laughing seeing Eisenhuth charging at them.

Me too. Eisenhuth makes tackles but doesn't stop them falling on their fronts, getting quick play the balls.

I think we have to give this a few more weeks. If any of those forwards was put through a gap, ran for 40m, or was took and intercept and ran for 40m or something like that, it would badly skew this stat at this early stage of the season.

Last I was told he had not made a decision.
We tabled an offer so have other clubs but he was waiting to later in year to make a call.
I would say he's not happy with the offers and want his form to show he's worth more.
