Bird goes ok. Just being used wrong. If a utility is needed, that's his spot. I think most teams have a utility which includes playing at #9.

tuipulotu named in the emergencies again. he must be close to a debut or someone in our backline is carrying an injury that can flare up at any moment...

Bad news for us. I mentioned earlier I was surprised that the Sea Eagles were only running with a 2 prop rotation. I notice today Sipley has recovered from injury and is now in the 17. So specialist prop rotation for us Lawrie / F Molo and Sele for them Paseka / Akoiai and Sipley. Weight wise us 320kg them 350kg, avg mtrs 23 season us 340m, them 350m.

We will know in the first 20 min if we can make ground up the middle of the park. This season we have avg 1,511m they 1,711m in the 3 games played. This is where the game will be won or lost. On the plus side we have the wood on them winning 22 - 12 since 1998, but the punters haven't been swayed since Sipley was added to their 17 we have blown out to $3.30, Manly into $1.34 to win the game. I believe they will target Bird with Koula speed wise it's a mismatch it will depend upon if they can give him early ball. Time will tell. Good luck to our big red v 1st game of the season at Win stadium which in recent times has proved bogey ground for the Sea Eagles.

Well at least the Jersey Flegg team got up a try in the last 3 min and conversion means we beat the Sea Eagles 30 - 28 and move into 3rd

Lower Grades

6. Nicholas Quinn Nick has grown up since I last saw him in a full Dragons match. Much bigger but has not lost any of his organizing skill. Was in everything good the Flegg boys did on Sunday.

For the last number of years it's seemed that no matter how badly the first grade team is going or how well the lower grades are doing, there will be few changes if any.

How is Feigai doing at fullback?
