Been banging on about it for all this year and a good part of last year. Bird is perfect for the role. If he could fill in at hooker for around 15min, he'd be a gun utility. Useful in every game.

He's no dummy half in my view . Me, Liddle/Flanagan so Flanagan off the bench . If that's the case you then have to choose between a forward or Bird also off the bench or Bird drops out, his stat's for a centre yesterday were poor, 11 runs 67m in comparison Jennings only played 38 min before injury and 6 runs for 50m. RFM was a failure yesterday against a good team no impact.

Agree 100%. Bird isn't a dummy half now but I think could definitely be trained to fill in for around 15min per game.

Start of second was our best 20 min of the match. Held them and scored two but then we either ran out of puff or confidence or ticker and the floodgates reopened. I put this down to our coach.

My view he just doesn't possess that passing game too late now to teach him. Passes should be quick be able to cut out the A attacker, hit the mark on both sides of the ruck. Just based on my personal experiences

Well it was all on show again for everyone to see , Hunt is not a 7 we had a heap of ball on their line and again he failed to control and get us back in the game ...... No repeat sets from him , it was up to Su'a to put in a Grubber and and pin the player down for repeat set ...... Isn't this why we are paying our half and captain to do ? The guys all good when everything is going our way , but has no idea how to turn the tide ........

Also at around the 20min mark, attacking their line, either Hunt or Flanagan passed to Zac near the sideline with nowhere to go, forcing him to throw a desperate flick pass before getting bundled over the sideline.

I wouldn't play with this mob. Watch the replay, cpt arguing with players, players ignoring the cpt, Lomax was well marked but wasn't as passionate as he has been. This club and team have a number of limitations. I reiterate this squad of current players will not get us to the semi finals. We need more thrust in the engine room and definitely more speed in the backs. Do we have those players in our lower grades? Time will telljodragon40 on the bench.
