Hunt is a prop. Need him fitter and in the team and a quality second rower. Shreb, Couchman or a quality import.

Prop rotation of Coric, Lawrie, Hunt and ******* sounds good. Maybe JDB will be a prop in 2 years.

Either way, both Coric and Hunt are props. I rate Hunt but he needs to work on his fitness in a big way.

  1. Treigh Stewart (same age as Sloan but has pushed Sloan out of fullback in NSW Cup and reported to be playing really well. He can't get picked in first grade this year because he isn't on a development contract. )

The Dragons are playing a dangerous game of wait and see, dragging their fans into 2023 without any transparency or clear vision on how they overcame just two finals appearances since 2012. They have instability among the coaching staff with more key members of Anthony Griffin’s staff about to follow assistants Matt Head and Peter Gentle out the door. The Dragons hierarchy are also giving Griffin little confidence he will be retained beyond the 2023 season after making an approach to Cameron Ciraldo, only days before he committed to Canterbury. Dean Young, Shane Flanagan, Ben Hornby and Nathan Brown are all viewed as possible replacements should Saints make a call on Griffin. An out of shape salary cap with massive money tied-up in the forward pack, also means the roster will remain largely unchanged next year.

The rich list should leave us in good stead as far as the salary cap next year. Only Hunt on really big money. Sims and McGuire gone. Mbye on nowhere near that much as far as it's costing us. Bird and Molo aren't earning their keep but they are far down the list.

According to that, could be in a much worse place as far as the cap goes. Could be in a position to launch a high profile raid. The NRL still haven't signed off on Angus Crighton's contract. Salary cap issues a the Rorters. I presume their very skillful accountants will fix it.

We need to entice a good young prop the backs as seen yesterday especially in regards to Moga are too slow. If you want speed then next season bite the bullet Ramsey to wing Sloan to fullback from game 1 with Lomax, Suli and Rav playing outside Amone and Hunt, Sullivan hooker, Bird, Su'A JDB locking the scrum we are a chance especially under Flanagan we need that prop.
