I haven't seen any lower grade games apart from the Foxtel game against Newcastle a couple of weeks ago, but I really liked the look of Treigh Stewart. I wouldn't complain if they gave him a run on firsts.

He excelled in Flegg last year but played about half a game in one of the trials. Had a bad game.

  • Couchman and Egan are surely going to be in the NRL next year at the latest.
  • What Musgrove did to the coaching staff is a mystery but clearly they don't want him near first grade.
  • I haven't been following closely but it seems the turnaround in form has coincided with Stewart going back to fullback.
  • I wonder how Herring is going.
  • Shereb is once again, a huge disappointment.
  • I know there are big wraps on Ben Johnson and Savelio Tamale. How fast are they? Becuase god knows first grade needs a few fast backs!
  • The turnaround in form seems to have coincided with Purcell not paying all over the field but as hooker.

Both still at school and making quick progress thru our pathways. Must be Loko's Flegg debut. Reserve Nicholas Quinn has big wraps as a play maker. How frustrating is it not being able to see these next gen boys playing.

Ressies falling away after oranges as happens to all our grades. Appears Turner is the weak link in the halves combo. Time for Stewart to be given a crack in his place.

Some of our Flegg juniors show promise, sadly it is obvious the Panthers have a far superior nursery.

Bummer missed the Ressie game yesterday. We lost to the Bunnies but it was not a thrashing with Zack Herring a stand out. Flegg gave the Bunnies a good battle, only being pipped by two.

Solid win by Flegg.. The inclusion of Nicholas Quinn may get us to the finals.
What do you know about Nick Quinn? First I've heard of him.

A few interesting selections here.
  • Both Couchman's playing in the middle. So I guess Flanno is thinking of them being another 5kgs heavier next year and playing in the middle with JDB, Lawrie and one more.
  • Connor Muhleisen 5/8 and Finau hooker. I guess that means the latter has won the battle out of those two. Muhleisen has been disappointing.
  • Finau's brother has cemented a spot on the wing. I wonder if he's going to be a winger or centre in the NRL in round 1 next year.
