Both Couchman's playing in the middle
Why Toby at prop, too small. Played very well when Griffin had him at backrow. Still think he and his brother would be good on the edge, but that may negate what they bring to the team with their strong middle defense.

Couchmans are both over 100kg.

  • Does anyone know anything about No.17, 16 and 18? Cause I don't.
  • Good to see Shereb back in the team. Maybe he's turned a corner.
  • Big wraps in No.4 Tamale. I think he's only 17 or 18.
  • After the big turnover from last year, this team might be coming good.
  • I know there are big wraps on No.3 and 4 but I don't know much about the rest.

I watched it but Harold Matts!
No mate you must have watched the wrong match. Quinn was the half and captain of our Ball side this year and his match is the second on the video. He is currently playing Flegg, but as I have no decent footage of him from Flegg, I posted this Ball vid I found on NSWRL site. Guessing he is 18 yrs.

Bold prediction Nicholas Quinn and Lykhan King-Togia will be our halves combo in perhaps even 12 months, more likely two years.

Quinn 1/2 and Lykhan King-Togia 5/8?
Yep
Going from Matts to NSW Cup inside a year is a meteoric rise!
Both K-T and Loko Junior started with us at BALL level this year, Loko at St George, his Endeavour High mate the Steelers. Then when Ball finished both played Flegg. Look out for the giant prop to soon join the 5/8 on the fast track. Whoever recruited this pair knows how to identify ability.

Another bold prediction. Four guys currently playing Flegg for St George, Loko Junior, Corey Ackers, Jacob Webster, Carlos Pauli with be the nucleus of our pack in two/three years.
Of course these predictions depend on us retaining our best young juniors.

That was a very good win against the Warriors. We were down and out but 2 tries in the 2nd half saw us get home 18- 16. Couchman again was strong, Tamale very promising and Herring went well.

Was it televised? Which Couchman was strong, both listed to play. They both should be in our Top 30 next year. Herring looks ready for Firsts, wonder if the Finau brothers are and Tuitavake and Fifita. Tamale looks a gun, was rated by the Waratahs.

Both Couchmans will for sure be in the top 30 next year.

Young Ryan scored a try and was strong. Not televised. Tamale is definitely a keeper. We were down 16 - 6 at half time and kept them scoreless in the 2nd half which is a wonderful effort especially at their home ground. 2 in a row hopefully the reserves can put some pressure on the 1sts Bird should have played his last game in 1sts
