  • I hope #16 stays in the team. Why isn't he much better? Bigger, faster and more skillful than Lawrie but a similar build. Not tough enough? Have him run drills with JDB, F. Molo, Suli and he'll toughen up pretty quickly.
  • I hope #1 and #3 are going well. I still think if they could learn to tackle, they'd make good centres. Not fast enough to be good wingers.
  • #10 and #12 keep going from strength to strength but coach prefers his 30 odd year old journeymen. He might make a play to sign those 2 for first grade in 10 years from now.
  • That disgraceful second half capitulation last week has been coming for a while. Hopefully that was the wake-up call they needed to not let it happen again!
  • I thought the inclusion of #16 would make a big difference to this team. May well have been the case. Just not the difference I hoped for.
  • At least #1 just keeps on keeping on with the try scoring.

Flegg go down to the lower placed Warriors. Not good boys. We have a pair of good halves, bookends but the rest of the forwards are below par imho. That should change when out best come across after the Ball SEMI or GF.

Looks like our Saints Ball Cup boys will be playing the Bullgrubs in the GF if they win today..

May have spoken too soon as Roosters coming back. Too late, Dogs win. That is a turn up as the Chooks were undefeated before today.

Our Ressies back in the contest with a pair of chip and chase tries. 14-18 now. Pity Marshke cant organize a piss up in a brewery or kick vital goals. Now he muffs a 10m drop out. Give Bronx Goodwin strength.

Noticed 2 tries for Sione Finau and one for Tamale. How are they going? A wing spot possibly available in first grade this year and I want to know what they are thinking in letting Lomax go. Who is going to replace him if not Tamale?

Missed the first Finau try but his second was from a chip kick. Tamales try was the last, missed that too. Boys did well to comeback from 18-4 at oranges. They need a cleverer halves combo. Not sure why Glover was dropped for Marschke.
