o I have watched the NickT sinbin a few times now, im still in shock.. someone had him by the collar and drove his head into the turf.. he shouldnt have reacted by giving him a small push.. but next minute someone (from behind) full pushes Nick flat onto the ground... and its Nick who is sinbinned, no mention of the souths bloke.. has me so cranky.. anyway..
o Rumble went for a huge spectacular catch of a short drop off.. he caught it briefly but dropped it and landed flat on the ground.. im a bit worried about his durability.. hes very lean and seems to find an injury despite his incredible attack.
o Stanley Traill a nice try there but yes got burnt badly playing in the centres on another try..
Note: Definitely mute the BunnyTV commentary, much much better..

Denied the winning try from what was a ripper passage of play by the backs . Overall a moderate display as the Bunnies were below us on the ladder. Hard to pick a best player for us as no stand out. Poor goal line defense in first stanza cost us, something the defense coach will need to eradicate going forward.

True but he carries a certain reputation with him which is to some extent justified. That was a ridiculous high tackle with a few minutes left.

In the end goal-kicking decided it and that failed last try with a few minutes to go.. had too many people to pass it too.
My match notes:
o Rumble was ok, he is very slender and seems to find injuries, he has his moments but hes not doing a great job of getting our of his end, seems to be upright and gets clipped.. tbf souths were very good at kick chase today, I actually thought it was the difference, our sets started on our line.
o Williams still finding his way in flegg.. needs to probably chase the game a bit or they need to use his speed in plays.. hes in there but hes not getting the space he did in SG Ball.
o Stanley-Traill played in the centres, he went ok but got burnt badly 1 or 2 times, he did score 1 himself and had some strong carries.. hes a year younger and will play SG next year.. so imagine him in 12mths.
o Latu was huge
o NickT was also huge hes rly filling out in the last 12mths.. big powerful body.. got sinbinned and gave away some penalties.. the sinbin I thought was rly ordinary.. and certainly the other bloke did something far worse and escaped punishment.. I found it ridiculous hometown stuff.
o TPH I thought was rly good for finding his feet @ 5/8, loved watching him get involved in the push and shove.. like a junior schoolkid in a highschool fight... if he was a few yards faster he would be dynamite, he always pokes his head thru.. definitely not out of place at this level tbh, but I would like to see him at fullback at some point.. he might even be better than Rumble.. but Rumble is first priority, TPH can take his time.
o Ward was ok, goalkicking aside..
Noone else rly stood out, obviously we missed Tonga too.. but its good hes moving up.
