IMO LKT is an out and out 5/8. Going well at fullback but his passing game > his running game.
What I have been saying too. If we are keeping one of Coric or he, I vote Coric.Egan a bit disappointing.

I had Glovers passes as the money ones. Still may have it wrong.LKT passes
I might as well. Have to review it later.I had Glovers passes as the money ones. Still may have it wrong.
We've been discussing him a bit lately, its hard to believe he is only 19y9mth old... like when you consider that, his impact is not bad at nsw cup level.. in 80 minute stints also.... and his physical stats are very similar to other nrl 2nd rowers.. but.. he doesn't seem to have the explosion that good 2nd rowers do.. and really hes only getting bigger and slower in years to come.. which makes me think his only future is in the middle..Egan a bit disappointing. Doesn't break many tackles.
Was going to Ask how did Fifita, Tonga, AlecT and Stewart go today, any thoughts on AlecT, didnt watch the game.My match notes:
We looked a class above today, or maybe the bunnies were just bad, but there was rly only a couple of moments at the end they scored all their points.. we had them to 0.. cant rly explain why we were so solid given we heaps of players out...
o LKT had a big game from the back, maybe 3 try assists.. cracking right side passing, Glover > Togia > Buchanan/Roberts.. nothing that Togia plays on the left usually.. as does Buchanan. He did miss a 1on1 tackle or 2, but otherwise a rly good debut.. I think he helps the team more than Tamale did.
o Tonga on his first cup game in ages.. hes bigger than the other forwards.. a bit slower to move still, a bit like a big kid.. easily excited... when he gets the ball and a head of steam hes a handful.. but very early days.. only had a few runs, did make 1 error trying to play the ball quickly.. does a lot of talking which I find interesting.. and good down the line.
o Fifita not a lot of carries but they were all good ones.. he has pace... I usually bag him but in his short minutes he was good.
o Stewart is on report twice for what I thought were absolute copybook aggressive tackles.. I thought it was ridiculous.. but nonetheless hes coming along, but again another one that needs 12mths.
o Buchanan was busy, 1 mistake, did a few good things, hes always probing, its harder to break tackles at this level though.. hes a proper centre though.. and we dont have many of them.. Tamale has ended up a winger, and Shereb is rly just filling in.. even Flegg only had 1 centre today..
o Glover/Brown as a halves pairing wasnt bad.. and LKT chiming as a 3rd half.. overall we had threat across the field at all times.
o Freebairn had some epic runs, barnstorming down the field.. good on him..
o The Souths #3 was an absolute c*** all day, faking injuries, trashtalking, facetapping, looked up who he was.. hes Brandon Mansfield-Webster (BMW) the bloke who was temporarily with us earlier this year..
o Noone else rly stood out.. missing Finau and CTui and 2xCouchmans r big outs, but they did well.. but perhaps not the best of teams to judge.. but I liked our defence right up until the end there.. Cooper Roberts although ive gone off him he did have a big 60m charge to stop a try.. there is definitely a potential winger in him.. its just that we have better options...
you can grab it on replay if u need it, he was solid as always.. hes an experienced forward in that pack.. Coric was solid also, MMolo was ok.. noone rly dominated as such.. we just sort as a collective rolled forward nicely. Was going to Ask how did Fifita, Tonga, AlecT and Stewart go today, any thoughts on AlecT, didnt watch the game.
Was thinking that too about Egan playing in the middle. We've been discussing him a bit lately, its hard to believe he is only 19y9mth old... like when you consider that, his impact is not bad at nsw cup level.. in 80 minute stints also.... and his physical stats are very similar to other nrl 2nd rowers.. but.. he doesn't seem to have the explosion that good 2nd rowers do.. and really hes only getting bigger and slower in years to come.. which makes me think his only future is in the middle..
He has the big motor.. he does the 1%'s, but im trying to fast-forward 12mths and work out is there a way we could use him or not? Given he has the NRL contract I would suggest hes here atleast next year.. and we will need him.. him and NickT are likely our 2nd rowers unless RFM drops back.. NickT is filling out and a powerhouse.. though he needs to solve his anger issues cause hes slowing down his own development.
Halanaghu has an unusual body for a 2nd rower also, and we dunno how big hes gonna get yet, but the way he carries ppl for post contact metres, surely we can find a spot for him somewhere in that pack.
I thought Coric and MIke Molo were the pick of the forwards.you can grab it on replay if u need it, he was solid as always.. hes an experienced forward in that pack.. Coric was solid also, MMolo was ok.. noone rly dominated as such.. we just sort as a collective rolled forward nicely.
