Was Shadi Hammoud the captain of the St George SG Ball team? A 5/8?
Shadi playing local comp when he returns?A few injury updates on lower grades
Marschke hammy he said a few more weeks.
Sione knee and hammy
Shadi Hammoud is cleared to play next week
David Afu 2 more weeks in boot.
Glad I'm no longer coaching. I would have made them shower only using the cold water tap. That last 20 min defensively was rubbish. As I have said consistently even back in my day you have to instill mental toughness into a player. Plus Souths won't be playing semi finals football this season and neither will we unless we start concentrating and playing to the full time hooter. F.M.We havent clocked off too early. Some shoddy defense last 10 mins.
A budding prop? Grow fully, then develop an offload and he will be a massive handful.Halanaghu has an unusual body for a 2nd rower also
I believe Dean Young can do that, seems Flanagan cant.As I have said consistently even back in my day you have to instill mental toughness into a player.
Yes to both questions. Was Shadi Hammoud the captain of the St George SG Ball team? A 5/8?
Better than NSW Cup halves.I was most impressed by Ashton Ward. He takes the ball right to the line before passing or running himself. Reminds me of Mitchell Moses.
Maybe so but how many people said that of Tigers 18 year-old 5/8 or Canberra's 19 year-old 5/8? I think both clubs wish they didn't have to throw them in the deep end so soon but circumstances meant they had little choice but to do that.LKT is barely finding his feet at cup level, im hoping playing a little fullback will accelerate it, but hes nowhere near taking over the #1 or #6 jersey just yet.. perhaps mid 2025 we will have this conversation.
He also has no contract currently, but im assuming they will slip him a development contract for next season..
Marshke should get a chance first.Maybe so but how many people said that of Tigers 18 year-old 5/8 or Canberra's 19 year-old 5/8? I think both clubs wish they didn't have to throw them in the deep end so soon but circumstances meant they had little choice but to do that.
Kyle Flanno is getting worse. Can't kick, can't run, can't do playmaking. His dummy and run is now costing us. Mid way through the second half, after a Couchman break and quick play the ball, we had them on the ropes, only had to get it out wide where they had no one. Kyle dummied and ran. No one fell for it, easily tackled, try bombed. Fortunately I think JDB charged over 2 tackles later but that was all on him and RFM.
Would like to see him get a shot in the last few rounds if we are out if the running, but I can't see Flanno doing it.Could LKT be in for a NRL debut this year? Why not? Multiple other clubs have even younger players in the team.
Keep in mind Kyle Flanno yet again had no try assists, no linebreak assists.
Full Time T&T contact atm.He also has no contract currently, but im assuming they will slip him a development contract for next season..

- Can't understand why #15 on the bench? From what I've seen, he's going better than #8 and #10. I'd be starting #16 and #15 with #8 and #10 on the bench.
- Nice to see #1, #4 and #16 getting a chance in Cup. I'd like to see Helengahu get a chance on an edge as well.
- #13 was good against Souths. He's consistent. If he was as big as his brother, that might be the big bodied prop
jodragon40 talks about. Too bad he isn't (as big as his brother).
- #1 will put a stack of muscle on that frame over the next 2 years. Imagine a Josh Dugan who can pass.
- What happened to Helengahu? Surely not dropped. He seemed to go ok to me.
- Wonder why #11 can't get a chance in NSW Cup. He's big enough. IMO he shouldn't put on more weight. A good balance of speed and size now.
- Hopefully #13 gets a chance in NSW Cup also.
