Wingers get more ball than any other position apart from half/hooker.

I don't love that he's moved to the wing but he's been our best player this season. Imo his ceiling is limited on the wing & centre compared to fullback.

I understand that but clealy "closer to the ball" means further in toward the middle, not on the wing.

Also clearly one of Zac's strengths is his passing. Of which now he barely ever does.

Can solve the Zac problem easily , Tell Flanno to piss off Bird from center , do a Hunt on him tell Zac I will never move you to wing again as Flanno did with Hunt ( ill never move you to 9 my big Sook ) and everything would have been sweet ......

This is so obvious. The fact it hasn't happened suggests to me Flanno doesn't want Zac at the club.

He and the sook aint working as a viable partnership. In fact any partnership with the disloyal faux captain has not been successful. He shudda played hooker all these years then we may have found a workable halves partnership.

You are talking as if there was a chance Zac will be retained. If so I'd prefer he played fullback to be honest as reckon he'd go up another level with not having to rely on being given the pig skin and having to go hunting for it. Another season of adding muscle from Sloan and he will be ready to take over Zacs centre spot or on the wing.

It looks to me like Flanno is doing virtual backflips in the selection office to fit all his favourties into the 17.

Precisely what he is doing. I am seething. Had hoped coaches playing favorites had ended with Griffin, not so and we fans are not happy. He is ignoring Fifita, Tuitavake, the Couchman twins, and a couple of our promising juniors to keep his mates happy.

Reports from NSW Cup say Fifita is on notice to pull his socks up or be dropped from NSW Cup team. The continued non-selection of the Couchman's is on the verge of sending me to a mental asylum.

Have I already posted this. Flanagan is destroying the confidence of Vili Fifita imho.
There was a little family celebration for this quiet, unassuming guy when he was named to debut in the top grade. Clearly he looked embarrassed, did not want to say anything but managed a smile as he had to have been excited inside.
He and his family's excitement was short lived when Flanagan gave him a pissweak 8 mins debut at the end of the match, then dumped him back to Ressies next game. I'd have understood if he had blown his debut, but he did not as in that short time he pulled off four powerful carries and six tackles. Evidently, as I have not seen a full Ressie game, his form has since nose dived and he is now in danger of being dumped from Ressies. Are coaches aware that their decisions can have a mental affect on a player. Flanagan should be as he played league for several years and not all that successfully.

Why did Flanno give him only 8min? Didn't go looking for the ball but wasn't screwing up either. Why not give him another 10min to go looking for the ball?

But why wait till the arse end of a game to debut Vili in the first place. He needed to have come on earlier in second stanza and play at least 20 mins. If his fitness was waning after that then yes send him back to the bench.

No Zac's gone , if Flanno wanted him all he had to do was move Bird and this would have gone away ...... There must be more to the Flanno Zac thing ....... Surely if you wanted to keep him you would of spoke to him and told him it's only for a short time then your back playing centre, fullback what ever ....... But what I'm reading into this he wants him out ...... Maybe he has someone else lined up .......

Still not good enough to be a lock in for this game but at this rate, by the time Dragons play Tigers again in round 14, they will be certainties.

I tipped Tigers to win as well. I'm going to tip against the Dragons almost every week until major changes.

"Club debut" not "debut". Tamale isn't in the extended squad. It's Tuipulotu. Rava is another who has fallen out with Flanno? He and Lomax have been the least of our problems this year.
