You know Doust is heavily influenced by the pathetic marketing campaign by Crown Larger, or its parent company, promoting Crown Larger as "a beer for the boss".

Though Seibold has gone on record saying he wants Flanagan to stay but wouldn't stand in his way if he was offered a head coaching position elsewhere. That was decent of him, I thought. Not trying to foist Flanagan on us like Souffs with Hornby or NQ with Young but just saying if he wants to break his contract with Manly, that will be too bad but we'll accept it.

Not bad if they do it. Seems it won't be for a few weeks yet and then the season will be basically over so they will say, "May as well let Grifin see out his contract." Then they will say, "Ben Hornby has served his apprenticeship and deserves a chance," but you know Doust, not Hornby will be in the man in charge. Doust is a man who'd prefer to be in charge of 90% of a $5 pie rather than 10% of a $100 pie.

Well, the big, much hyped board meeting came and went. Once again, nothing done. I think they get in there and just have a laugh and tell jokes for 90min.

Another example of of a club being divided. This is and has been our current culture for some time now and it filters down all the way to our grass roots.

Look at the funny side of it. For 2 weeks they were talking about 'the board meeting', 'the board meeting'. Like they were really looking forward to it. They were able to get that free feed Craig Young is so fond of and all the Crown Larger they can drink! Why wouldn't they be looking forward to it? As far as getting anything done, barking up the wrong tree there.

But on a brighter note, they did agree to do it all again in a month.

I saw on Twitter, in much more diplomatic language, Billy Slater said the reports about the Dragons approaching him to be the head coach or any other position in the club is complete BS. If it happened, he never heard anything about it. i.e. it didn't happen.

St George-Illawarra GM of football Ben Haran (who TF is he and what qualifications does he have?) saying the Dragons can't recruit any good players due to uncertainty in regard to the next coach..............

So make a decision on the next coach!!! FFS, why is this difficult to understand?

Did you actually know that we had no head of recruitment after Flanagan left for Manly? Haran
