The Titans were just foxing with us and other desperate clubs, as they always intended offering their big two extended contracts. WOW a 10 year one for Tino. Back in 2018 we may have taken the gamble on a player of his quality, as we did stupidly for Ben Hunt, now all we can hope for is more of the same as past decade, rejects and has beens.

If I was a Titans supporter, and they are my team after the Dragons, I'd want a lot more than top 8. Top 4 would be a pass mark.

Lets not lose hope. I have some really high hopes in the Couchman's in the forwards and Tamale and Finau in the backs. Having Hunt and Amone play well along with Sloan defend much better and get more involved will see this team rocket up the ladder.

I think Euey is a better all-round player but Jack Bird is a better bench utility. Due to his ability to play in the halves.

If reports are to be believed, it seems we have gone cold on Luke Thompson. I guess Flanno knows what he is doing but from what I've seen of Thompson, I rate him.

His aggression leaves him prone to suspension and injury. That would be ok if he regularly pumped out 200m a game but he doesn't. Well, it wouldn't be "ok". I mean it would be worth the risk.

I know he plays for the wooden spooners but before that he was a Penrith junior plus a Junior Kangaroo. Has a good defensive record to go with his strong middle running plus an offload.

Definitely next year or one or two years down the track. If Flanagan moves Zac to the back Best is the ideal replacement as they have similar stats. Then again if he wants Suli in the pack then a spot opens immediately for Tamale.

Next year for sure! If Zac was going to moved to the back, I'd agree about Best but I'm hopeful Flanno is going to toughen Sloan up dramatically and next year he's going to be consistently good.
